Commemorative Stamps:
- The left stamp was issued in 1973 in a single value set and it depicts Tycho Brahe, a Danish nobleman famed for his accurate and comprehensive astronomical observations.
-The other commemorative stamp is much younger... it was issued in 2006 in a set of 4v about Cobra art. COBRA (or CoBrA) was an European avant-garde movement active from 1949 to 1952. The name was coined in 1948 by Christian Dotremont from the initials of the members' home cities: Copenhagen (Co), Brussels (Br), Amsterdam (A).
Cancellation: Sydjyllands. Date: 11-1-2008.
Postal Tariff: 2+5.50+0.25= 7.75 Kr. Correct postage for airmaill from Denmark to Europe for a up to 50g letter.
