Monserrat new Issues

Good morning y'all!

Yesterday I've receive the new issues bulletin of the Montserrat Philatelic Bureau.

The cover had 2 flower stamps on it... pink flowers... Catharanthus roseus and Nerium oleander!


Inside you can see that they have issued 2 recent sets.

I was very surprised (and should I say in a good way!) when I saw the above image of these amazing stamps!

The design isn't complex... rather simple in my opinion, but very eye catching, wouldn't you agree?

My public congratulations to the UK postal office for such a nice set of stamps!

This year 2008 the EUROPA CEPT theme is the Letters. Portugal issued a very interesting set of stamps, souvenir sheets, FDCs and Maxicards depicting such topic.

Beijing Olympics 2008

8th August 2008 is the official starting date of the 29th Edition of the Olympic Games 2008 in the Chinese city of Beijing.

To the games, this year Portugal will send 46 athletes competing in several different events shown on the stamps bellow.
