Above you can see a s/s from Poland issued in 2006 for the occasion of the Stamp Expo Washington 2006.

This stamp exhibition was held from 27 May to 3 June in Washington DC. Over 200 stamp dealers and 226000 people were present!!!

What a major event, wouldn't you say?

Stallions from Romania

Today I've received this cover... It's from Romania... the land of Dracula... or at least the land of great horse stallions, as you can see from the cover bellow!

The stamp on the left belongs to a set of 4 definitive stamps about ceramics issued last year 2007.

On the right you can see a stamp depicting the 25 Apr. EU treaty, issued in 2005 in a 2v set.

2008 in Brazil

Fresh stamps issued this year 2008 on a freshly received cover from Brazil! Eheh!


On the left you can see one stamp commemorating "200 Anos de Comércio Exterior no Brasil"!

The stamp on the right depicts the "200 Anos do Banco do Brasil" (Bank of Brazil).

Japanese cover

New Year of the Pig 2007

Hello! Hope you're having a great weekend around your stamps! On the upper right corner of cover above you can see 2 equal stamps issued last year to commemorate the New Year of the Pig 2007 they belong to a set of 4 stamps.

The numbers at the top of the stamps are for the New Year's lottery in Japan.

I guess the sender of this cover didn't win the lottery otherwise he wouldn't send them to me! eheh!

From Albania

Albania... I don't receive many covers from this country but from the stamps on the cover bellow you can see that they issue some interesting stamps, wouldn't you say?

The 1st stamp commemorates the 60 Years End of World War II. It was issued in 2006 and belongs to a 2v set.

The other 2 stamps were both issued in 1996. One depicts the Olympic games Atlanta (3v set) and the last one is about UNICEF (4v set).

How often do you receive covers from Albania?
