Tourism in Cuba

Above you can see one FDC that I've received just the other day... notice the snail on the cancellation... very clear and nice, isn't it?

The stamps on the envelope were issued last year 2007 in a set of 4v, depicting Tourism.

When will any of my readers invite me to go visit Cuba? I wonder...

AIDS Awareness

Today I have the following cover to show you:

The set of stamps was issued as an UPAEP issue in the year 2000 and it's about the Cuban Campaign Against AIDS. Very interesting set ... I think that the way the world was pictured, heart shaped, very peculiar and meaningful. Don't you agree?

The cancellation date is 21 Sept. 2007 and it's a commemorative cancel of the Plastic Arts Academy Roberto Diago.

Yesterday I've shown you one FDC that was reused... today I'm showing you another one but this time from Cuba!

2 reused covers in 2 days... aren't those countries issuing new FDCs? Or are the senders in a revival mood? eheh!

The FDC above was issued on 5 Nov. 1970 depicting local folklore.

In the stamps, from left to right and top to bottom, we have the following designs:

La conga de los Hoyos

El triunfo de la rumba

Fiesta de nañigos
