Hello collectors...!

Are you a fauna topic collector? Or maybe a bird collector? If so, you will enjoy the Australian cover that I have here to show you...

The 1st stamp on the left was issued in 1995, depicting Blind aid, in a 2v set.

The other 3 stamps showing different animals were issued in a 4v set in the year 1993. Very nice stamps aren't they?

Some A380 covers.. and advice

Hello everyone, Here is one I produced .. all details on my blog as you may know..
Hope you like this cover.. for my collection ... the crew were brilliant.. and not only for some of them signing a few of my covers

( actually only 19 of this one as I donated one to someone but it did not have all the handstamps on it) .. many will stay in my collection the rest ..one could be yours.. I even have some others I have not shown yet.. the Singapore Post issued FDC... again email me for details..

One thing I want to say to you all.. do read carefully what you are buying.. I have seen some items on eBay that I feel are pushing the boundary shall I say... Buyer Beware.. sadly some people are parting with their money too easily.. some person paid $180plus recently for a piece of paper with images of stamps on that was being given away free in a magazine. it questions the credibility fo the seller in my view.. but hey that is life I guess. also while I proudly plug my few remaining covers.. if you spend more buying fakes than one of my genuine covers.. I am sorry for you not for me.. enjoy your stamps.. be safe..

The Philatelic Autopsy: Season 1 Episode 6

Country of origin: Australia

Stamps: No. 3 . Currency: Australian Dollar

Commemorative Stamps: Theme "Wildlife, Animals" were issued last year 2006 in a 6v stamp set. The design of the left stamp stamp depicts the Tasmanian Devil and on the right the Platypus. Both 2 strange and exotic Australian creatures!

Cancellation: Unreadable!!

Postal Tariff: 1.85+0.05+0.05 = 1.95 AUD. Correct postage for Airmaill from Australia to a Zone D country for a up to 50 g letter is 1.95 AUD so this letter travelled with a correct postage fee.

Australia Space on stamps Part III

I was thinking of all the subject headings I could give this piece, and all sounded so clichéd.. so just Space on Stamps, and Australian stamps, as today the new Australia Space stamps were issued.

I chose this FDC to show you all.... the Miniature Sheet on a Cover...

Australia Blast Off! 50 Years in Space part II

Yes these are rather interesting stamps.... some details... as asked for by someone...

Issue date is 2nd October.. and withdrawal date is 30th October.. so a short issue life if you want to get them. You can order from Australia Post or I am willing to get a set for people if you cover all my costs. Email me at cddstamps@gmail.com

There will be 5 50c stamps and one $1 stamp.. as you saw in the scan shown in the other posting here.

The paper will be gummed and self adhesive .. so two different sets. The printing process is Lithography.

There will also be:

1. a miniature sheet comprising the strip of 5 50c stamps plus the $1 stamp.
2. First Day Covers, one is gummed stamps, one is self adhesives and one is the Miniature sheet. Cost of those three is $10.40 AUS.
3. a prestige booklet ($ 10.95 AUS)
4. a collectors pack - whatever that is!!!

and, a limited edition ( 10,000 only) stamps and medallion cover ( $19.95 Aus)... plus gutter pairs ......plus plus plus... If you wanted one of everything you won't get much change from $100 AUS.

I'll be showing the FDC in due course... like as in after 2nd October...may even have one as a prize on my own blog.. or here as well :-)
