Hello! Did you know that there are many people around the world that collects churches on stamps? Well... It's not really my cup of tea but this year 2008 Lithuania has issued a very interesting set of stamps depicting “ WOODEN SACRAL ARCHITECTURE IN LITHUANIA”.
The stamps show the following Churches:
5ct – The church of Antantė. 1794
10ct – The church of Degučiai. 1757
20ct – The church of Inturkė. 1855
35ct – The church of Prienai. 1750
1.35ct – The church of Šiaudinė. 1775
1.55ct – The church of Užventis. 1703
Are you a church stamp collector? Tell us what do you think of this set!
